If you have got your hands dirty with WCF, this is one of the error you will see sooner or later.

“The maximum string content length quota (8192) has been exceeded while reading XML data.”

WCF is complaining that the string length is greater than allowed by the binding.

There are attributes like maxStringContentLength and maxReceivedMessageSize that you can set on your binding. By default, the value is 8192.

To solve this issue, set the value to a greater number (probably int.max=2147483647)

So your service configuration should look like

Note: The endpoint bindingConfiguration value should match the binding name.
